40 and Forward – Rewind Reception

In 1982, a group of musicians had a vision of coming together to play the repertoire they wanted to play with their friends. They created what we now know as Detroit Chamber Winds & Strings.
We invite you to join us for a reception celebrating 40 remarkable years of DCWS. Following the Signature Series concert Opus 1 – Rewind to the Beginning, this 30-minute program will include a new commemorative video, awards ceremony, and recognition of those who helped lay the foundations for DCWS.
Ticket includes admission to the reception and a gift bag of keepsake items and delicious treats. Concert admission is sold separately.
Reception Tickets $40 per person
To ensure the safety of our guests, our Rewind Reception will be limited to allow for social distancing. In lieu of removing masks to eat or drink, a gift bag of keepsake items and delicious treats will be handed out at the end of the reception to enjoy at home.
