Entertainment
For this year’s annual celebration, DCWS invites you to reconnect with friends and remarkable chamber performances. DCWS musicians take you through the ’20s in each century, with repertoire ranging from the 1720s to the 2020s. Performances will be interspersed throughout the celebration as you stroll through the historic Hunt Street Station.

During the event, we will also be auctioning off a private performance by DCWS artists to be performed at a location and time mutually agreed upon by the artist and the individual that purchases the lot. Dinner with DCWS President, Maury Okun, will also be auctioned at the event.

This evening will feature exquisite wines in our Wine Pull, which is a drawing for a bottle of wine from a wide pool of over 60 wines. Guests can purchase a cork with a number that corresponds to a random bottle of wine in the pool. Each cork costs $25, yet wine ranges in value from $25 to over $100. In this fundraiser, everyone is a winner and you could receive a bottle worth much more than what you spent!

Venue
Hunt Street Station located at 2200 Hunt Street, just across the street from the iconic Eastern Market. Formerly known as the East Side Police Precinct, it was built in 1897 and operated as a police station until 1960. From marble floors, tin ceilings, handcrafted oak doors, iron beams and a brand new 2nd-floor deck, Hunt Street Station is anything but ordinary!

All events during the annual celebration will take place on the first level and are accessible.

Please note: We are not using the lobby entrance in the front of the building. The parking lot leads straight to the main entrance we’ll be using. For easiest access, please plan to be dropped off there as opposed to walking around the building. Everyone will enter through the back.

Parking & Ride-Share
There is free street parking all around the building. Patrons may park in the parking lot by the building. DCWS is coordinating carpools for those interested in Ride-Share opportunities. If you would like a ride or are willing to provide a ride, please contact Kameron Sheffield at Sheffield@art-ops.org.

Food and Drinks
The evening’s entertainment will be accompanied by a strolling dinner and complimentary wine service. Guests will have the ability to explore the various rooms while they eat or to relax at any of the seated tables available throughout the venue. The strolling dinner will begin promptly at 5 p.m.
